Finance Committee

The Student Association Finance Committee is responsible for the allocation of roughly $1,200,000 to over 450 undergraduate and graduate student organizations at the George Washington University. The SA receives an annual appropriation of funding from the Student Association Fee paid by every student enrolled at GW based on the number of credit hours taken. The SA accepts requests in the form of Co-Sponsorships, Micro-Loans, and Line-Item Transfers from Spring Allocation for this coming academic year. The elected Finance Committee of the SA Senate approves the requests for Student Association funds; however, it is the Executive Branch of the Student Association that manages all spending.
